Seshat's panoply certainly gets looks from the soldiers, though they're clearly been briefed ahead of time on what to expect.
The inside of the tactical tent is pretty simple. There's a computer in the back with a couple monitors, and a table in the middle with a map laid out across it, plus chairs. Just a place to hang out in a central area and talk shop, easily put together and taken down - though Seshat can imagine countless ways to improve even that.
When she pops inside the tent, an amused "At ease, soldier," meets her from a man sitting on the tactical table's edge. After a few moments of her eyes adjusting, she realizes she's looking at something of a gallery of historical heroes.
There's Aline Lafaille, La Lame Argentée, hero of WW2 France, naturally. She's in her pale bodysuit with sash and emblems.
But then, the guy sitting on the table's edge - with his long, dark overcoat, ponytailed hair, and the pommel of a bladeless sword hanging at his belt, she recognizes as Hayasaya. He's older than Aline by a fair few years; a japanese cape from all the way from the 30s.
Cross-legged in one corner is a young woman, garbed all in crimson red with a black, armored undershirt. She looks like a late teenager, though she's the oldest hero still alive - Fia, the girl vampire (referring to her apparent agelessness, not that she drinks blood. But maybe she does, who knows,) who was companion, bodyguard and lady in waiting (and sometimes mistress) to princesses of Bhutan since the 1830s, until she was separated from the role by the current king's grandfather.
And rounding out the gallery is an older, very dark skinned man in bright green and white, floaty garbs, with a translucent, glowing fox apparition snoozing on his lap. He's the Night's Host founder, before he handed it off to Uplifter and retiring; Syali.
